Every year, the Outdoor School offers five internship positions. There are openings for four 9 1/2 month Naturalist Internships that run through the school year, from late August to mid-June. The Garden Internship is typically 10-12 months, and begins in July or early August, which allows some summer time overlap with the outgoing garden intern. Recruitment for both internship positions begins in January and February, with interviews in March, and offers to top candidates in April for the following school year. We are always on the lookout for skilled Naturlalists who live within a reasonable driving distance to fill in as a subsititute and/or to help us out during particularly busy weeks. If you live in the area, have at least one full year of experience teaching in a residential outdoor school, and are interested in part time employment, we hope that you will take the time to complete an application, and drop by or give us a call!
